The Lady Ripples was restored 2000-2001 by Heritage Boat Works in Winnipeg, Manitoba. New top decks, re-chromed, leather interior, WB motor rebuilt and balanced. Kept in a boathouse on Lake of the Woods, Kenora, Ontario, since restoration. Winner of the annual Kenora Harbourfest antique boat show for several years. Purchased in 1929 by Winnipeg businessman and politician, The Honorable Robert Rogers. Sir Winston Churchill and his sons were carried to his summer camp on Lake of the Woods during his visit on August 20, 1929. A video of Churchill’s visit to the Roger’s camp, and in the boat, is available upon request. The current owner purchased the Lady Ripples in 1976, and has maintained the boat on Lake of the Woods ever since.
