1973 Lyman 26' Cruisette powered by a freshly serviced Chrysler 360 V8 with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and zero hours since completion of service. Featuring Lyman's iconic original lapstrake (clinker-built) mahogany hull, this cruiser is known for its exceptional ride quality, timeless styling, and craftsmanship. This is not a project boat—it is a professionally restored, documented Lyman that has already had the major structural and mechanical work completed. Professionally restored by Brazil Boat Works, the hull was stripped to bare wood, professionally refinished, and the bottom sealed with two coats of penetrating epoxy followed by two coats of hard resin copper bottom paint. The original lapstrake hull has never been fiberglassed and retains its traditional wooden construction, with professionally replaced transom from earlier restorations completed prior to my ownership. Extensive restoration photographs document the restoration from bare wood through completion. The boat has been stored indoors since completion of the restoration and engine service and includes a galvanized trailer, full mooring cover, Bimini top, VHF radio, inverter with refrigerator, restoration photographs, and available service documentation. The engine was professionally removed and serviced by Fay's Boat Yard, including new Barr Marine exhaust manifolds, exhaust elbows, impeller, spark plugs, distributor condenser, V-belt, valve spring, and additional maintenance. The trailer was professionally serviced prior to storage with hub, bearing, brake, and electrical work completed. Original upholstery, an older Garmin GPS. I don't believe there is such a thing as a perfect 53-year-old wooden boat. What I can say is that this Lyman is structurally and mechanically as close as I could make it, with the major restoration and mechanical work professionally completed and thoroughly documented. I purchased the boat in Sandusky, Ohio—where Lyman boats were originally built—and brought it home to New England. I have extensive photographs documenting every stage of the restoration and am happy to spend the time discussing the boat's history, the restoration process, the work that has been completed, and answer any questions with serious buyers. This is a well-restored classic without undertaking a major restoration. Clean Massachusetts title in hand. Serious inquiries only.

The boat sits on a galvanized triple-axle Venture trailer that was professionally serviced prior to storage. Recent work includes hubs, bearings, brakes, and electrical components, making it a solid, roadworthy trailer for transporting and launching the boat. The trailer complements the quality of the restoration and is included in the sale.
