Purchased by her current owner as a project in 1999, her cuddy cabin, ability to handle rough conditions, and ample storage made her a good candidate for day trips. The restoration was completed in 2017 and she has been carefully used and stored since that time. The hull was in sound condition, but fully stripped, fasteners re-tightened, and caulked. Stem and forward plank-ends previously replaced by Doc Lyman ahead of purchase in 1998. The teak decks were in good condition, but were stripped and re-varnished. The hull was finished in Epiphanes yacht enamel and all brightwork finished with Epiphanes vanish. All new marine wiring and fuse panel, trim tab cylinders rebuilt, fuel tank cleaned, prop and skeg trued and rebuilt, new tachometer and all other gauges rebuilt. The original Gray Marine engine has been fully rebuilt, upgraded to electronic ignition, and has less than 30 hours of run time.

Comments:
The trailer was custom built in 2007 to fit the boat. Two longitudinal 6 x 6 carpeted wooden bunks are contoured to precisely fit the hull directly under the 12 foot long engine stringers in the boat. The rear rollers guide to centre the boat as the trailer is pulled from the water. It works perfectly. All the lighting is sealed LED with most wire protected in conduit. Hydraulic 4 wheel brakes. Spare wheel and tire. HD tie down straps for the boat with slide-on padding to prevent marking the varnish. Both wheel and coupler locks. Included is enough Nautolex vinyl to cover the plywood walkway. A gallon of burgundy paint is included if one desires to match the trailer color to the hull accents of the Lyman.
