I recently refinished my 20ft 1954 Century Resorter. The old varnish was stripped and the wood was all hand sanded. I applied new stain and 10 coats of varnish. Most hardware has been re chromed, all new upholstery to match original, new flooring, fresh bottom paint, fresh bilge paint and caulk. I ran the boat all summer in 2011. The engine runs great but the boat has not been in the water for about a year due to the work being done on it. There are about 652 original engine hours. Engine is an Chrysler inline 6 Fireball engine with top speed close to 40mph. There were only 99 of these made in 1954. I believe the wood is mostly if not all original with no rot! I get tons of compliments and looks from people at the lake. This will certainly get attention. Contact me for more pictures.
