The boat was completely restored in 2009. The cold molded hull was in great shape, structurally sound and a dry boat. Decks are new, spring seat supports were veneered with original birch and the seats repaired with original lumber crayon stock numbers underside. All finishes are modern catalyzed urethane providing for a maintenance free boat. The motor runs well for the most. It has a remanufactured block, new magneto and spark plug wires, new six pole electric starter, new lower unit so it does not have the drive shaft corrosion that causes the gear lube to be contaminated with water. The motor control is a period correct Kiekhaefer. The trailer is custom for the boat with bunks to provide correct support, waterpproof lights and bearing buddies.
