Eric Grimshaw grew up watching his father boat on Grand Lake, Oklahoma, and never lost the itch. After restoring a small 1950 Chris-Craft Sedan which too small for a big lake, and lacking a bathroom, he set out to find something bigger. His wife Shannon found this 1964 Chris-Craft 37-foot Constellation in Galveston. They'd actually seen it years before at a boat show and loved it. In a fever of classic-boat enthusiasm, they bought it sight unseen during Hurricane Harvey. The restoration was brutal, but the result was stunning. Howard Classic Boats spent nearly two years rebuilding it from the bottom up, replacing over 75% of the hull frames. This was a deeply personal labor of love, and now this Sinatra-era classic is ready to be back on the water.
