Impromptu...1951 Chris-Craft Holiday-Hull # H23-033...A great all around boat for the family with plenty of seating! Hull card shows delivered to Buffalo NY then on to Fort Erie Ontario. In 1996 the boat was purchased by the now owner and picked up from a storage barn in Rochester NY. The project boat subsequently was disassembled and all work including the planning restoration commenced through 2002 with the full restoration completed in 2003. The wood is 90% original with a new 5200 double planked bottom. All frames checked sealed and replaced if needed as well as removing each hull plank checked sealed and reattached using stainless steel screws. A new sole was installed to reflect the original as delivered boat. The engine was replaced by a 1968 350HP Crusader as suggested by the renowned George Johnson following a compete rebuild by Vermont Engine.
