Grandpa worked for many years at Chris-Craft, building beautiful boats by hand. He took pride in his work and cared about every detail. One day, after years of dedication, the company surprised him with a brand-new boat of his own. It was their way of saying thank you. Grandpa loved that boat, but what mattered most to him wasn’t keeping it—it was passing it on. When his son was old enough, he gave it to him, along with a simple message about hard work and family. From then on, the boat became part of our lives, carrying memories from one generation to the next.
