This boat was was built in Newport News, VA, and delivered to Art's Marine Service in Lakewood, OH. The hull number is 10037. It was the 91st of 650 Ensign models built at the Gar Wood factory in Newport News. It was sold to its first owner in 1947. The boat was kept in Ohio and sold to its second owner, also in Ohio, in the late 1950's. That person enjoyed the boat for over 40 years before selling to the third owner in 2003. in the 2000's it was completely restored and is now s a 99 point show winner. One point was deducted because the beading on the upholstery was the wrong color. It still won many awards. It is now with the 6th owner. This boat features a 5200 bottom!
