This stunning mahogany inboard runabout is model 202, the “Special Utility Boat.” Built in 1934, it is fitted with a 4-cylinder, 35hp Lycoming engine. Complete with a shatterproof windshield, automotive steering, nickel silver fittings, and upholstered seat backs and cushions. The wooden hull and framing are almost totally original, and the hull was refastened about 15 years ago. The Lycoming engine (#3090) has been maintained and winterized annually. The exhaust piping was replaced in 2021. Current owner purchased from Maine Maritime Museum in 2025 and had her on the Penobscot Bay last season. Unfortunately, she took on water from a major wake in September 2025, causing damage to the starter/engine setup. Since then, the Lycoming motor has been hauled out, cleaned, and reset, but she still needs some work to be back on the water. Specifically, the generator and starter need to be replaced and she should be good to get back on the water, with the potential for an easy 12V conversion for easier bilge options, etc. Estimate around $800, pretty easy winter project! The boat is otherwise in pristine condition, as is the trailer. $5500 OBO
