This Jacoby is a truly significant piece of racing history! She was owned and raced by Paul Wearly, a very notable outboard racer of the 1930's - 1950's. This particular boat was his 1940 A-class hydroplane APBA National record setter. The boat was found in a basement in Upstate, NY several years ago and was painstakingly restored to museum quality. 99-point Best in Show winner at the prestigious Lake Tahoe Concours D'Elegance. Complete with canvas trailering cover. The boat and motor are absolutely flawless and would be an excellent addition to a permanent collection. Johnson KR racing engine is outfitted with several rare "Neal" aftermarket racing parts offered in the '30's and '40's. The overall condition and collection of history & documentation show real pride of ownership.
