1957 Whirlwind boat acquired by seller in 09 and went through a restoration. Engine was fully rebuilt in summer of 09.Partial boat restoration done by wooden boat specialties in Clayton,NY. Guard rails repaired, bottom repaired and painted. Remaining bright work completed by Antique Boat Museum Boat restoration educator. 10 coats of varnish applied. All Chrome on boat has been re-done. The boat has been a fun little boat and has only been used less than a dozen times since 2011 at an estimated 20-30 hours on the boat since owner has acquired the boat and it went under restoration .Boat has always been stored indoors and covered and is in good condition. Steering and starting system for engine is intact. Comes with battery and most of the orignial documentation on motor and steering system.Engine most likely needs a tune-up and it is assumed new spark plugs will be required. Motor didn't ignite last summer, was working fine prior.
