Elizabeth” turns heads and draws a crowd everywhere she goes. She is a variation of the stock Elco 27. This boat took extra time to come out of the boat yard in the 30’s. The keel was laid in 1930 but took another couple of years before she was ready. She has an upgraded rudder and interior from the factory. This 84 year old design is as useful today as it was back in 1930. She has an adequate head for convenience and she’s safe and steady when underway because of her full keel design. Her rebuilt dependable diesel engine can power her up to 8 knots. Newer aluminum triple axel trailer will allow for long distance trips to any body of water. She draws just over 2 feet and has a protected prop for shallow cruising. Everything on the boat is original except for the head, engine, cushions, and new full boat cover. Boat underwent an extensive refit in the 90’s. She has an epoxy fiberglass bottom over the cedar planks with 4 layers of epoxy paint.

Comments:
Overnights are no problem with a family because of the spacious cabin and convertible bunks to allow 4 to sleep comfortably. The kids will love the large cockpits especially the bow where they can feel the air and be separated from the parents. The large cockpits are also advantageous for entertaining up to 8 guests with plenty of room to spare to move back and forth.
