A fien example of Canadian craftsmanship, the Dowsett is a mid 1940's St. Lawrence 18 Foot Double oarlock Skiff. The skiff has the originla oarlock posts and bladed oars. Story has it that it was built just before WWII and then stored away and never used again. The boat was kept indoors and is in impeccable condition, like a piece of furniture. Te skiff was professionally restored in 2008 and is in pristine condition. This boat is truly a piece of St. Lawrence River history.
