BOAT SUMMARY |
Frank Pembroke Huckins began his company in 1928 building boats and in 1943 the US Navy commissioned Huckins to build two squadrons of PT boats for WWII. JFK was initially involved with the delivery of these boats from Rhode Island to Jacksonville, Florida. This Huckins Fairform Flyer is indeed a rare boat being that only 2 of these models were built. The engines were rebuilt in 2004 and the boat has been stored indoors and kept out of the elements when not in use. The boat is a fine example and in ready to go back in the water this year. |
