| BOAT SUMMARY |
| Believed to be a Gar Wood prototype built some time during the late1940's, it is the only known aluminum streamline sedan in existence. Recently fully restored by Mayea Aeroplane and Boatworks, she is sorted and ready for her next owner. 100% of the aluminum is original to the boat. Her hull is fastened with hundreds of hand bucked rivets typical of ship construction. There are no welds. The aluminum decks and hard top resemble aircraft type construction typical of WWII fighters. The quality of fabrication is outstanding. She features mahogany interior and combing, teak flooring and leather seating all done by Mayea’s. Tin Can is a multiple show winner and presents a very unique opportunity that cannot be duplicated!
