The Mary Alice is a 1915 Elco Yacht tender which once hung on a 120 foot Elco Yacht. The owner of the yacht did not pinch pennies with this tender as you will note the raised mahogany panels and turned bench legs. She still has her original makers plate mounted forward. She is made of Port Oreford cedar which was not commercially available for decades. Her engine is a 1904 Ferro, restored by Everett McFarland. Somewhere along the way the engine was fitted with a starter which makes the boat much more useable. This boat is an older restoration, fresh varnish on deck and transom. Engine starts right up.Boat very original.Previously owned by past president of ACBS. Great display or boat house show piece, or pond boat. Historic captains gig, very pleasing to the eye and comes complete with a trailer and cover.
