This is an early example of a Mullins Sea Eagle that is believed to be about 1930. The boat has been fully restored over a six year period to be as accurate as possible to its original configuration. This is believed to be an early Sea Eagle because of it's simple, pre-eagle shaped bow fixture. The engine is a fully detailed 1929-30 Lycoming 40hp, which is original to the boat. The engine was apart but was not in need of a rebuild. The paint on the boat was matched as closely as possible to original and was done by a DuPont Professional.
