Boat ID: 25817

This is the finest GarWood Utility ever made which is completely original with the exception of new decks and upholstery. Boat has it's original guages and hardware and was first delivered to Ithaca Marine in 1939 and has stayed in the Western New York area all of it's life. This is a deep hull GarWood of which few were made each year and this boat bears the Hull #6359. This is a relatively rare boat and it is believed that there might be as few as 20 remaining in existence. A complete log book is available showing a detailed account of all materials, work, labour done on the boat as well as restoration photographs. This boat is referred to as a Model 970-975 in the GarWood book by Tony Mollica on page 93 in his book which outlines ONLY 17 that were made that year. Currently 5 of these units are known to exist today !!
