Antique Boat America.com is pleased to announce the opening of our 20,000 square foot showroom in the fall of 2005 on Route 12 in Clayton, New York, located conveniently by the 1000 Islands Bridge and the village of Clayton. As a result of our explosive growth we are building this indoor showroom to proudly display many of the boats that are in our inventory in one location. Clean, dry and well lit, this showroom will be the ideal environment to display antique and classic boats for sale and will include well known manufactures such as Chris Craft, Century, Garwood, Ditchburn, Riva, Dodge, Hacker, Hutchinson, Shepherd, Lyman and others.

We are located only minutes from Clayton, The Antique Boat Museum and the Antique and Classic Boat Society headquarters in order to make your visit a complete Antique Boat experience.

Located in the heart of the 1000 Islands, we will be able to show 85+ boats in our showroom which will all be for sale and allow the potential buyers to see a complete and vast array of boats at one time.

This is a sweet 13 foot Old Town Canoe " Common Sense" built in 1937. Canvas covered, the canoe weighs only 45 Lbs and is perfect for display or for use by one person who finds bigger boats too heavy to handle. It has spruce gunwales, oak decks, thwarts and genuine caned seats. The canoe also has copper stem bands and is offered in it's original dark green color. Built in 1937 it was recently refinished. The canoe does have a ding in one of the gunwales and also has a small crack in one of the ribs. the canvas is sound and tight and the interior is very nice. This is a collectible boat in a very collectible size and hard to find.

This boat was built by Sommerset Boatworks in 1933. The company custom built two boats, the "Hebe" and the "Bebe" for racing. This is a D-Class Hydroplane that won many races back in its day and was clocked at 71 knots on the Charles River. It's sister boat, the "Bebe" was wrecked making this the last in existence. The boat has been entirely restored and is still very fast. The transom and decks were replaced about 7 years ago. It is ready to be enjoyed and raced in vintage events.

14ft Geo Aykroyd Dinghy built by J.J. Taylor and Sons in Toronto. It was raced on Stony Lake for about 10 years. It has a recent enlarged North Sail and aluminum centre board. She was completely restored in 2010 back to original condition. Sailed only 10 times in 2011. Comes with an aluminum dolly and custom sunbrella cover. Owners also have original steel centre board and cotton sail.

This is believed to be the only boat of this type in America. This rare outboard was made in Italy for a well known resort near Lake Como and this one boat is the only one of that group to have been spirited out of Italy and brought to the US. This is one of only 50 made and believed to be the only one in North America. The boat has been superbly restored and will turn heads with its unique Italian design. The boat needs nothing and is powered by a excellent running Evrinrude Fast Twin with a new powerhead. It is finished off with a custom trailer which will pull it handsomely to any lake or boat show. This E.M White is an exceptional canoe which was found at the Chicagoland Canoe Base. The exterior finish is flawless as is the color. The canoe is solid and rot-free and totally original. This is a great find, exceptional and desired. The canoe has been fully and faithfully restored and is a fine specimen. Every rib and every plank are original. The ribs are I belive ash and the planking is clear cedar with the breast plate being oak. The canvas is essentially brand new and prepared by professionals. The canoe bears the hull ID# 781. After many years of ownership and very little recent use the owner has elected to part with the boat. These are hard to find in this type of condition and represent a great part of history when canoes were so very popular as a means of transportation.

This is a stunning example of Peterborough's fine Canadian craftsmanship. This is a gorgeous varnished grade Peterborough boat made of cedar strip with copper nails. It is a pre-1929 boat, exact date unknown. Very solid condition - Restoration was done 6 years ago and the boat still looks fresh and beautiful - 50 new oak ribs, bench seats, floor boards and a few small sections of plank replaced. All the rest is original including the removable seat backs. Recent new varnish. This boat is light, strong and a pleasure to row or show.

This boat was owned by the famous governor of Pennsylvania, the Welsh American Dr. Arthur James (1930's). This boat has cane seats, 2 sets of original oars, brass trim. It has been re-varnished to better than new condition. It is a multiple show winner and is probably one of the most beautiful Rushton's around.

This is a very nice 100 year old Carleton Canoe built prior to the Old Town takeover. Excellent interior, exterior is fiberglass over new canvas. Small damage to gunwale on both ends. Three thwarts plus an extra "lifting thwart" on the stern. The boat also has a lovely provenance with the addition of a "diary" from a previous owner who carefully documented all of the trips that he took with this boat almost 80 years ago.

With lovely heart shaped decks and trimmed in mahogany this is a lovely Carleton Canoe which is 17 feet in length and bearing the serial number 11154. This is a Indian Princess model that was made with red western cedar planking and open mahogany gunhwhales, mahogany trim, keel, fllor rack and painter ring. The canoe was built between March 1915 and March 1916 and was ordered originally in a dark green. It was shipped and delivered on May 27th to New York City. This light green canoe is in great condition. Interior, seats and canvas all in great shape. Rare canoe with optional flooring slats. A little touch up paint and she is ready for showing. This canoe is worthy of a serious look.

This boat was originally shipped to Buffalo on January 5th 1940 and is the 61st boat built in the series.

This is the only Jackson skiff that we have ever had to sell. Jackson was an Ogdensburg, NY builder that built several skiffs of this length. It is unusual in it's decorative style, opposing color woods in the gunwale and decks and delightful ceiling boards the full length of the boat. Twin decorative oar locks with two sets of matched Shaw & Tenney oars. All hardware is brass and complete. Brass name plate indicates; Jackson Boat Works, builder, Ogdensburg, N.Y. This is a well built excellent two person skiff in great shape that was recently restored by the owner who is no longer boating due to age.

The boat spent most of it's life in the Adironbdacks and has always been in fresh water. The boat needs nothing and is powered well with a 350 engine.

Only 1210 Chris Craft Rivieras were built between 1950 and 1954. It was easily recognized by its Red upholstery with white upholstered dash and side panels. It also was distinguished by its blonde deck and mahogany stained planking and contrasted nicely with its copper bronze bottom paint. This is a beautiful 1953 Chris Craft Riviera. This boat was restored by a well known restorer and was done handsomely. The boat has a new interior which is correct for the boat. It also had the hull and top sides refastened. All of the gauges, chrome and wiring were re-done to Show quality. The boat has the correct gauges, chrome and the motor is the correct numbers matching engine. The boat has no less than 30 coats of varnish and sits on a 200 trailmaster single axle trailer with chrome wheels.

This boat was the third one bought by my grandfather and named Wooglin, then II and then III; the name has an association with the the Beta Theta Pi fraternity at Colgate University in Hamilton NY of which he was a member. It is a great boat to use for skiing, fishing, and just cruising. It powers up and planes beautifully when you "feel the need for speed". It has always been run on fresh-water Oneida Lake. During the boating season it has been in a boathouse on my property, off-season it has been professionaly stored under cover. It has always been professionally maintained. This classic Chris Craft has been used by five generations of my family. It has served us well and we enjoyed it for many seasons.

This is one of the rarest Gar Wood Runbaouts as only 44 were built and potentially one of very few still remaining. Despite being built in 1937 the boat only has ad 2 owners. The boat has a new 5200 bottom but the rest of the boat is very original. Upholkstery has been re-done and is correct. The boat also has the original Dietrich Top and a bronze muffler which was an option in 1937. The boat also has the original Chrysler Ace engine which runds great. The boat was for over 65 years owned and kept on Saranac Lake in the Adirondack Mountains. This boat is a proven show winner and has scored 95 points at the prestigous Clayton Boat Show. A rare jewel and ready for a new Captain for many more years of proud ownership.

This rare Gar Wood Commodore was delivered to Fitzgerald and Lee boatworks in Alexandria Bay New York in 1946. At the time they were the largest dealer of Gar Wood boats in North America. The boat spent many years in Chippewa Bay on the St. Lawrence River and later moved to Alabama and Florida. This boat is an award winning boat and was fully restored with a complete engine rebuild and a new 5200 bottom. Gar Wood Boats by Anthony Mollica says this...."the Commodore was the most beautiful twin cockpit runabout of it's time and maybe of all time".pg123
3023719 Feet 1953 Forrest Johnson Racing Runabout$40,000
Only a few of these boats are known to exist today. W.A.S.P. is one of the few that has had a keel up restoration. All work completed by a well known restoration shop. A new bottom was fitted onto the boat and it was repowered with a Mercruiser 350 MAG giving the boat great power to attain speeds in excess of 50 MPH. The original paint scheme and racing numbers were added back to the vessel completing its restoration. The Prowler is owned by a family that has had it for over 20 years.
