Antique Boat America.com is pleased to announce the opening of our 20,000 square foot showroom in the fall of 2005 on Route 12 in Clayton, New York, located conveniently by the 1000 Islands Bridge and the village of Clayton. As a result of our explosive growth we are building this indoor showroom to proudly display many of the boats that are in our inventory in one location. Clean, dry and well lit, this showroom will be the ideal environment to display antique and classic boats for sale and will include well known manufactures such as Chris Craft, Century, Garwood, Ditchburn, Riva, Dodge, Hacker, Hutchinson, Shepherd, Lyman and others.

We are located only minutes from Clayton, The Antique Boat Museum and the Antique and Classic Boat Society headquarters in order to make your visit a complete Antique Boat experience.

Located in the heart of the 1000 Islands, we will be able to show 85+ boats in our showroom which will all be for sale and allow the potential buyers to see a complete and vast array of boats at one time.

The current owners found this boat abandoned at a gas station in Northwest Virginia several years ago. The boat had a fire in the engine compartment and sunk at one time years before. After 2 years of extensive work, the boat was brought back to excellent condition. Much of the exterior wood was saved but most interior wood was replaced during the restoration. It was returned to original, showroom condition and is absolutely beautiful! It has a 2007 Shoreline trailer and a custom made heavy duty canvas cover.

True modern building techniques, but finished to look and feel like a classic. Mahogany & maple dashboard. 2 3/4�x3/8� beveled mahogany ceiling strips. Four storage compartments under seats. Custom mahogany & maple banjo style steering wheel with maple leaf inlay. Black pyramid vinyl flooring. Boltaflex covered seats, backrests and interior upholstery. This is an excellent little raceboat for the cottage that can also be brought to the boat show! Science and Mechanics magazine offered plans for the "Minimax" back in the 1950's. Designed to be built for a MINIMUM cost and MAXIMUM performance. This boat was built at that time and is believed to have been used as a display boat in a Seabright, NJ marina (the price sticker is still on the bottom of the cast aluminum Kainer steering wheel). She has been totally restored and is a real beauty. The KE4 Mercury pushes this boat well and looks very sharp. This is a great running package that shows very well. This rig is ready to give a young enthusiast years of enjoyment!

This boat was built in Henderson Harbor to be in direct competition with the lapstrake Lyman that was so prevalent in the 50's. It was designed to be more stable, more weather friendly and more sea-worthy...and it proved to be just that. This boat has been meticulously restored to better than original quality with all hardware and options in tact. Beautifully finished with 10 coats of deck varnish and several coats of hull and bottom finish, it is beautiful as well as very user friendly. The trailer has been used very little and mostly for storage. There are several of these Irwins in the Thousand Islands but none in better condition than this one. Come to the showroom and see it.

Multiple award winner at Clayton Show. Built in Alexandria Bay and delivered to Fred Kilian of Syracuse and summer resident of Cherry Island... and named "RIFT II". This is a very popular size of Lyman and even more desireable with it's twin engines. The boat is very roomy and great for entertaining. It had the motors re-powered a few years ago and at that time new decks were installed. Since that time the boat has been used very little on the St. Lawrence River. Once property of the Antique Boat Museum's collection in Clayton New York this 1942 22 Foot Hutchinson Launch is all Mahogany lapstrake construction. This boat is all original except for the windshield and in very nice condition. The original engine was replaced with an identical Chrysler ACE 90 HP 6 cylinder engine which had been completely rebuilt by Drake engines and has less than 10 hours on it since the rebuild. The boat has a folding green canvas bimini top. The windshield hardware was originally off of a 1930's Garwood. The boat has been boathouse kept in the Adirondacks since it was purchased from the Museum in 1996. The owner is selling due to lack of space and will miss this reliable and steady boat.

In 2005 Paul Dewhurst of Golden Era boats built a gorgeous rendition of a Gentleman's Racer. It was a blend of a number of contemporary features as well as recognizing old school look and charm. This gentleman's racer featured a "Slipper Stern" which enhanced the 8.2 liter Mercruiser big block engine and allowed it to reach speeds of up to 50 MPH. This boat is a gorgeous looking boat that will draw attention and crowds wherever you go. Previously, this boat was owned by Actor Nicholas Cage. The boat has been maintained and cared for since new and stored indoors at all times when not in use.

This is a mid-40's Thompson boat, canvas over cedar with some fiberglass over the canvas. The boat is in rather rough condition but it is still serviceable and could be restored. Wood seems solid although some transom parts have been chewed by the beavers during years in the barn. Also available; two HAND-HEWN cedar oars that may or may not have been used with this boat. Oars and boat are separate. Boat is $800, Oars are $200. Would make a wonderful display in your cottage on the river or lake. Because these hand-carved oars were apparently not for this boat, they are being sold separately from the boat...or can be bought with the boat. Very unique oars...great display.

Reported to be a Rushton but without a distinguishing plate this boat looks very much like a Rushton Florida. It has been in the same family for many years and has always been stored indoors. The skiff was purchased off of Moose lake and used apparently at Camp Tojenka and is believed to have been built in 1905 and owned by the Kingsford family of charcoal fame and was located in the Old Forge area in New York. There are two sets of oarlocks and there are no oars that go with the boat.

This is the only Jackson skiff that we have ever had to sell. Jackson was an Ogdensburg, NY builder that built several skiffs of this length. It is unusual in it's decorative style, opposing color woods in the gunwale and decks and delightful ceiling boards the full length of the boat. Twin decorative oar locks with two sets of matched Shaw & Tenney oars. All hardware is brass and complete. Brass name plate indicates; Jackson Boat Works, builder, Ogdensburg, N.Y. This is a well built excellent two person skiff in great shape that was recently restored by the owner who is no longer baoting due to age.

This very pretty boat was built by Ditchburn, a Premier Muskoka builder, in traditional Ditchburn styling with split cockpits, combing boards, split teardrop windshield and a large outboard rudder. A very manoeuverable planing hull makes this a fast and fun boat. One of 4 model 17's built in 1936 and the only one known to be in the water. Completely restored from 1997 to 1999 by Millar-Potter with all of the original hardware and most of the original wood being retained. Restoration included new gauges, upholstery, aluminum gas tank and a rebuilt 1949 Ford Flathead V8 engine with twin carbs, Mallory electronic ignition and a 12 volt generator. Boat was revarnished and the bottom repainted in 2007. This easily trailerable boat is stored inside between outings. This is a Indina Princess model that was made with red western cedar planking and open mahogany gunhwhales, mahogany trim, keel, fllor rack and painter ring. The canoe was built between March 1915 and March 1916 and was ordered originally in a dark green. It was hsippeda nd delivered on May 27th to New York City. This light green canoe is in great condition. Interior, seats and canvas all in great shape. Rare canoe with optional flooring slats. A little touch up paint and she is ready for showing. She is made of Port Oreford cedar which was not commercially available for decades. Her engine is a 1904 Ferro, restored by Everett McFarland. The engine was run, tested, detailed and commissioned. The entire boat was rewired with period wire with a new bilge pump added. The boat was last in the water in 2004 and was carefully stored in a dry secure location. The boat only needs to be soaked up and enjoyed.

Made by Williams Boatworks this finely crafted hand-built classic motorboat is the first "Minett-Shields" runabout to be constructed in over 50 years, re-establishing the legacy of the eminent Canadian wooden boatbuilder Minett-Shields of Port Carling, Ontario. In concours condition the boat requires absolutley nothing and is ready to go and be enjoyed. The boat is built with red cedar hull, with white oak frames. The deck interior and furniture are all mahogany. It baost white Italian leather seats, custom Minett_shields chrome plated bronze fittings a tonneau cover and a Mercury fuel injected V-8 engine. Completely restored including a new bottom, new decks, new transom and a new cabin top and interior. This boat has had over $70K invested. It is cherry and needs only a coat of bottom paint and perhaps a coat of paint on the sides. Hardware is all intact and in excellent condition. Chris Craft made only 1462 between 1946 and 1950. Hull is the same as the 1941 23' Express except that a round stem head was installed. Interior is red and in excellent condition.

This boat was built by Sommerset Boatworks in 1933. The company custom built two boats, the "Hebe" and the "Bebe" for racing. This is a D-Class Hydroplane that won many races back in its day and was clocked at 71 knots on the Charles River. It's sister boat, the "Bebe" was wrecked making this the last in existence. The boat has been entirely restored and is still very fast. The transom and decks were replaced about 7 years ago. It is ready to be enjoyed and raced in vintage events.

Custom built in 1957 in Bay Head New Jersey by the Hubert Johnson Company. The vessel is 24', the hull is 3/4 Cedar lapstrake planking riveted to heavy oak ribs. Decks, windshield, coamongs and seats are 3/4 inch mahogany. The floor, decks and hatches are 3/4 inch teak. The engine is a 225 HP Chrysler Hemi with reduction gears. Designed for offshore cruising, this boat is extremely seaworthy and great for families or the sportsman. Professionally restored between 1998 - 1999. Hasn't been in the water since 2000.The vessel comes with a custom built tandem axel bunked trailer with brakes and removable uprights. Loads and unloads in only a few minutes. This boat has had four owners and was donated to Cornell University where it sat for many years. This is a unique piece of machinery and was built for Pennsylvania millionaire. Boat is terrific for rough water and extremely versatile. Twin gas tanks each holding 40 gals. Boat is finished with Seatall not varnish.
