I replaced a transom crown board with a small amount of dry rot and refinished the entire transom. The interior vinyl has been replaced. | I recently refinished my 20ft 1954 Century Resorter. The old varnish was stripped and the wood was all hand sanded. I applied new stain and 10 coats of varnish. Most hardware has been re chromed, all new upholstery to match original, new flooring, fresh bottom paint, fresh bilge paint and caulk. I ran the boat all summer in 2011. The engine runs great but the boat has not been in the water for about a year due to the work being done on it. There are about 652 original engine hours. Engine is an Chrysler inline 6 Fireball engine with top speed close to 40mph. There were only 99 of these made in 1954. I believe the wood is mostly if not all original with no rot! | This boat was made in Wisconsin by the Badger boat company. The boat was fully inspected in 2008, appears to be in solid condition. It was used for approximately 10 hours in 2008, no use this season. Hull could use fresh paint and one of the trim hoses is leaking, very seaworthy other than that. 120hp Mercruiser engine runs very well. | ||||
