| This is a very uncommon model of Chris Craft kit boat from the 1950's. This "Comet" model may be the only one known to exist. Reminiscent of the 1957 Chevy with fins and classic 50's style. There were only 2 models of these ever made. A 14 footer with 4 seats and a 2 seater 12 Foot Meteor. They were only made in 1957 and 1958. This boat was found in Iowa after being stored for many years. It is all original and has been recently refinished. The Montgomery Ward trailer is original to the boat and is in great condition. The 35hp Johnson Sea Horse engine has been beautifully restored and only needs to have the controls installed. This is a very nice, rare collectors piece for the Chris Craft enthusiast. | ||||
