GEM is a 26-foot Cruisette, one of Lyman's most popular models. She spent her first 45 years on Lake Erie and the last three in the fresh water of Tom's River, New Jersey. Since new she has been used lightly, with only 338 total hours on her original, powerful Crusader 260 engine. In 2009 the engine was pulled, the seals redone and the filters, carburetor, fuel pump, points, plugs, belts and wires were replaced. A new stainless steel frame, convertible top, side curtains and aft cockpit cover were installed in 2017. Bottom, sides, decks and transom are in excellent condition. All mechanicals are in top working order, including a new, never-used Port-a-Potty. Also onboard are trim tabs, an antique binnacle and compass, a nearly-new Garmin GPS set, and an original but rarely used full canvas mooring cover. GEM is a beautiful boat that rides well in any conditions.
