The Sportsman is a popular model of Chris Craft as it is a very easy to handle boat and open enough to allow for movement. The boat is completely preserved /restored by the Old Time Boat Company in Mount Dora, Florida and is in turn key condition with only 77 hours of use since completion. Full documentation of the restoration/ preservation is available, This boat has a 5200 bottom with copper bronze paint, all boards treated with Smiths CPES, new decks, silicon fasteners, refinished original side planks, replaced decks and transom, replaced upholstery and flooring, replated chrome, restored gauges and replaced wiring. It is powered by a rebuilt Chevrolet V8 engine. Also included in the sale is the original Chris Craft Model K engine and a custom cover. Always stored indoors, the boat has been well maintained and always stored indoors when not in use. An aluminum trailer completes the package and pulls the boat nicely. The boat has been in the same Family since 2005 and lightly, carefully used and enjoyed. It has always been in fresh water and is a remarkable example of a 17 Foot Sportsman. The boat looks like it JUST came out of restoration.
