This St. Lawrence Rowing Skiff will make an excellent project! Reported to be made by a Joseph Sheff of Massena New York. The skiff shows the influence of Massena, being at the base of the Adirondacks. It has some neat details which remind one of an Adirondack Guide Boat, such as a plumb stem, short decks and close rib spacing. The boat has not seen the water in a number of years and will require restoration. The boat is a perfect project due to its size and St. Lawrence Skiffs are extremely popular.
