The hull was built by Gerard Longtin and has the attributes of a high speed offshore type vessel similar to the Hunt designs used for ocean racing. The gentleman passed away before completion of the boat and was completed in 1986. The hull is constructed of two ¼” layers of cold molded mahogany outer skin using an epoxied saturation technique and no mechanical fasteners. The decks and interior lining are made from solid mahogany lumber. It has a modified vee-hull configuration with a small cuddy cabin forward and seating for 6 people. The instrument panel is comprised of a tachometer, temperature, oil pressure, volt, speedometer and fuel gauges. It has a custom wood steering wheel and the shifter is a single lever with controls for the trim tabs. This boat has always been sheltered since ownership and in storage for the past 12 years. It was fired up late last summer and winterized for the season.
