This gorgeous 1914 Elco Cruisette was originally built as an Electric Boat and has always been on Lake Champlain. The boat was commissioned for the Family who owned Button Island off Button Bay in Vergennes, Vermont and was used to transport guest to and from their summer home. The boat stayed for decades in the St. Albans area and in 1978 was purchased by our Family. The engine has now been replaced by a gas engine. After undergoing a full restoration this boat had no less than 81 ribs replaced and is in good condition. The boat has always been stored indoors and shielded from the elements and is ready for her return to Lake Champlain or to your favorite body of water.
