The Mullins Sheet Metal Company was originally in the business of creating decorative plates for stoves and other metal appliances of the early twentieth century. Then out of necessity for business the owner decided to make himself a rowing skiff out of metal. The birth of the Mullins steel boat is the result and this is a prime example of that craft. Some dings and dents exist of course in the metal skin, but the boat is remarkably original and very pleasant to look at. Steel over a wooden frame and solid in every way. A unique classic boat that would serve very well as a daily user and create some comments at the dock.
