"Mr. Benny" is one of three 29' Rochesters known to exist. Restored by Wayne Mocksfield in N.J. and shown extensively in the Northeast. Her engine, chrome, leather and varnish in excellent condition. Built by Rochester Boat & Engine of Rochester N.Y., she is a very rare addition to any collection. This is a fast Gentleman's Runabout of yesteryear. It is powered by a Scripps 12 Cylinder engine which is good solid shape and offers lots of power. The Scripps engines were built with bakalite cam gears, this owner replaced them with aluminum - nice upgrade. The DD5 carbs look original outside for show but the guts are Holly 500 CFM 2 barrel . The original DD5's on the Scripp's were prone to flood and create a possible fire hazard. The boat has gorgeous green leather upholstery and has been completely restored and rebuilt. Full cover, galvanized tandem with brakes and all flag poles present.
