Built in Niagara on the Lake, Shepherd boats were well known for their strong construction and ability to handle rough water conditions. This example was the 3rd 24 footer built in 1954 and equipped with the optional hard top configuration, which featured extended cockpit space and additional seating behind the captain's position. Factory equipped with a 220hp Chrysler Marine Hemi V8 with dual carburetors, she is well powered for her size. She has her original spotlight on the foredeck and three covers are included with the sale. The current owner has enjoyed the boat on many ACBS trips throughout the Eastern US and into Canada. At the time of restoration, the boat received a new transom, chines, ceiling panels, flooring, interior upholstery, and a replacement fuel tank, in addition to full cosmetics. The Chrysler Hemi was also rebuilt at this time. This is a go-anywhere boat that is very well appointed and ready to enjoy. Sold complete with a custom tandem axle trailer and 3 custom covers.
