One of the most popular and successful models of Chris Craft offered following WWII, the U-22 Sportsman was a perfect blend of form and function. A roomy boat at 22 feet in length, she could accommodate passengers comfortably and perform well, all the same. This example has been fully reconstructed using modern methods and materials, very similar to methods used by contemporary wooden boat builders during new-construction. These methods are designed to extend maintenance intervals, while maintaining traditional appears from the exterior. This also shortens and virtually eliminates pre-season prep and makes the boat very easy to own and service. The Chris Craft 283cid V8 engine has been rebuilt and offers easy starting and reliability. She will push the boat to a comfortable 40mph with two onboard. Sold complete with a custom cover and custom tandem axle trailer. Needs nothing and is ready to enjoy this season!
