Boat delivered by railroad to Clayton, NY for 1st owner (1947-67); 2d owner (1967-88): Current owner since 1988. Engine rebuilt 1989. Vessel constructed with mahogany deck and transom, cedar planked on white oak ribs/painted hull and double planked bottom. Boat only used Lake Ontario and St. Lawrence River. Dual axle homemade trailer included and has been used for storage and local launching here in Clayton. Copy of original bill and Chris Craft specs available. Home-built trailer is sold on a Bill of Sale only. This U-22 is in solid condition but needs fresh varnish and paint to return her to glory.
