We have used and enjoyed this 1962 Coronado for 23 years. It’s an unusual Century model produced on a limited basis. With 3 other boats, it’s time to reduce our “inventory”. The upholstery is correct for the year. It could be used as is or easily be a good restoration project. The original engine is a rare Chrysler big block 413D with dual 4 barrel carburetors. It is standard bore, never been bored out. Good runner but has trouble idling, probably needs the carbs cleaned. Boat is in user condition. Several planks were replaced over the years and it swells fine. I removed and didn’t repaint the original white jets on the sides and the white trim to see how it looked all one color. The windshields have spider web cracks which I am told can be restored or replaced. The trailer is fine, needs painted, and the tires have some dry rot. It has always been used to launch in the spring and removed in the fall a mile from the house.
