I came into possession of this boat in 1979 when I purchased my home on Lake Sunapee, NH. It was hanging in the boathouse and has been kept in the boathouse ever since. After my retirement in 1998 I refurbished the boat in the early 2000's. Among the things I did -- removed the engine -- turned the boat over -- stripped the hull finish and applied West System to the entire hull -- it now has minimal water leakage through the season. I also replaced the Gray Marine 40 HP engine with a new/old engine from Fay's Marine on Lake Winnipesaukee. The engine runs fine. I also had the upholstery redone and the hull is all refinished. I also worked a number of other issues -- wiring and steering among them. I have used the boat on Lake Sunapee for many years including participation in several antique boat parades.
