This is a rare 19' 1940 Chris-Craft Custom Runabout, often called a "Barrel Back" This boat is finished as it originally was with orange deck seams and boot stripe and tan pigskin interior. Hull #48739 She was originally left the Chris-Craft factory on May 16, 1940. She was named "Everan Zephyr" and that name was applied at the factory. She was shipped to Geneseo, NY and spent most of her life in the Rochester, NY area. Many years later, Everan Zephyr was moved to San Diego where she was purchased as a Grey Boat and restored by one of the country’s premier restoration shops, McCall Boatworks in McCall Idaho. in 2014, after a nearly 2 year restoration, she went to the Lake Tahoe Concourse D' Elegance and was awarded Best Runabout and the Jordy Carlton Overall Best in Show Award. in 2014, the featured mark was the Chris-Craft "Barrel Back" so all of the finest examples in the world were there.
