One of 934 18' Sea Skiffs built between 1954 and 1959; this was Chris Craft's answer to the Lyman Islander. Able to handle chop and rough conditions comfortably, the open-lapstrake design is very practical and effective. This boat was a barn find in Wisconsin when purchased by her 3rd owner. The hull was restored in 2005 and the engine was completely rebuilt in 2018 by JNA Machine Shop in Baltimore, MD. Less than 12 hours on the new engine. All new seat cushions & backs with a matching “Navy Top” built to original historical specifications. Zippered side curtains were included. All original instruments & gauges are operational. Electrical system is 12 volt. Starter & generator have been thoroughly tested by a electric motor company in Baltimore as well. Last running in 2020 and a single axle trailer is included in the sale.
