17 Ft. Mahogany wood boat with fiberglass overlay. Power plant is a 1962 Gray Marine Fireball V8, 327 Cu-In, 238 HP, coupled to a Warner, model 71C Velvet Drive hydraulic transmission direct drive shaft to the prop. (Mid boat engine location) A classic ski boat built in 1962 and first launched in 1963, has only been in fresh water since the engine was rebuilt in 1990. The Glen-L boat design website featured this boat in its December newsletter in 2003. That article can be viewed online, along with many photo's, by searching "webletter 52". Read the article "The Legend of the Lake". The boat and trailer are in full operational condition, Regular maintenance has been done through the years, a complete engine rebuild was done in 1990 including factory new heads and manifolds. It has only been used on one or two trips a year to the Colorado river and 2 trips to lake Powell for the past 25 years. The Bimini sun shade cover and removable towing tower for skiing and wake boarding are added accessories. The tower assembles under the sunshade. (see photo of boat in water with sunshade and tower has a towel hanging on it)
