The boat is a 17 foot 1956 Chris Craft Runabout Hull# D-17-1084. The boat has the bigger KBL 131hp engine. I purchased in 2010. It was a one owner boat that had hung in the same boat house on Lake Lure for 54 yrs. I had to purchase a trailer to go get it so the trailer is like new . I had the bottom stripped to bare wood, sealed and painted in 2011. Engine fully rebuilt by professional shop in 2012. The exterior was stripped and refinished in 2015. We have had a Dam problem on our lake so the boat has only been used a hand full of times in the last 5 years. It looks like it was varnished yesterday. The wiring was all redone and battery converted over as well. The chrome, is in good shape but not new. It has always hung in a slip. Very nice boat which is ready to go for this coming season.
