17' 1953 Chris Craft Rocket with plaid interior - only 48 built with this interior, which has been restored with original plaid. Engine has been rebuilt with zero hours on it, still in shipping crate. New driveshaft. All metal parts have been professionally polished out. Missing its windshield but we have the brackets and they have also been refurbished. Exterior of boat has been stripped and is ready to be stained. Paint for the interior to match original green will come with the boat. New fire extinguisher. New mahogany rear light/flagpole. We are the second owner of the boat and drove it from Florida to NC on the current trailer, which is not the original. This boat was purchased in Ohio in 1953. It has never been in salt water. Original owner passed away in 1954. Boat has been garaged since purchased originally. We have the original flags and paperwork. We purchased the boat with the intention of refurbishing it but have been unable to do so. It is ready to be re-assembled and is available to be picked up in NC.
