This is a wonderful project boat for someone who loves the runabout styling of these beautiful wooden boats. This 1951 Chris Craft Special Runabout was originally shipped to Langley, Oklahoma after it was built in Algonac, Michigan on March 5, 1951. It's journey continued to Jefferson City, Missouri where it was titled in October 1987. In the mid-90s, the boat made its way to St. Louis, Missouri where it was purchased it from a rancher and trailered back to Michigan. We purchased it in January 2003 from that owner and it is now in Utica, Michigan. It has been stored indoors on its trailer. The engine turned over in 2005. We have secured the boat's original build sheet, owner's manual, instruction book and Chris Craft marine engines K-series parts list. Included diagrams include: Deck Arrangment & Profile, Shop Drawing, Hull Lines Drawing and Standard Wiring Diagram for K, KB & B Engines. This is the perfect wooden boat to begin a restoration project today!
