This 1963 Arkansas Traveler is representative of a real transition period in boatbuilding where Fiberglass was beginning to dominate the market, and designs still maintained a traditional look. Purchased by her current owner a few years ago at the Clayton Boat Auction and recently restored by owner. The original gelcoat was prepped and painted with Interlux Primer and Brightside enamel. Solid transom, with all original hardware, steering, seats, and snap-on cover. She has been powered by a rebuilt mercury 50HP outboard with the powerhead rebuilt several years ago and just this season a magneto and full fuel system rebuild (carb kits and fuel lines and fittings). Spring 2021, the engine was started and run to operating temperature on muffs. She is sold complete with a well-fitted single axle trailer.
