1949 Chris Craft 16’ Riviera Runabout Model B in wonderful condition. Long admired in a privately held collection including the Queen of Lake Tahoe “THUNDERBIRD” yacht (a 1939 55’ Hackercraft). “Gibblets” is the “little runabout” part of this original Legacy Collection and named in honor of the family grandchildren. This 1949 Chris Craft Mahogany beauty has enjoyed only 2 owners. Her 4-cylinder engine is original, was completely restored in 1977 and runs beautifully! All maintenance and service is current! Formerly named “Petite Follie” She successfully placed in several classic boat shows. 1st Place 1983 Post War class Lake Tahoe Concours d’ Elegance. Professionally refinished in 2008 with Epifanes Marine Varnish. All records. Traditional bottom. Only fresh water exposure and safely garaged in a balanced climate environment. 1950 EZ-Loader Trailer is included with new wiring, LED lights, good tires and all registrations for boat and trailer are current. Full coverage, custom boat cover also included. Vinyl interior and all brightwork in exceptional condition. Original specifications honored. One of only 174 Model B Runabouts built by Chris Craft between 1949 and 1951 making their availability and comparable condition very rare. An absolute gem! *Also showing pictures of Thunderbird for appreciation of the legacy. “Gibblets” is seen in the 1985 Concours d’ Elegance Antique Boat Show Poster next to “Thunderbird” on Lake Tahoe.
