This is a rare Chris Craft. In 1947. Several were cedar planked and painted. This is a mahogany planked boat with a newer bottom but replaced as the original was installed, with diagonal planks. Not a glassed over redo. Boat is all original with the exception of the bow light which appears to be a Hacker light. Chrysler straight 6 cylinder, runs beautifully. Got a small oil leak at the rear, keeps the bottom lubed up...Needs to be refinished as the last job was not done well , but it looks OK. Got a split deck plank where a deer hit her on the way to winter storage one year. It doesn't look bad though, a purist will see it. Because of it's rarity this girl has a lot of potential should you want to restore it to a collector unit. Or just run her as is as a great driver. It's a sweet little boat. Trailer is storage only, not road ready and it has a good mooring cover. Seats are original so should be redone but as I said a great driver. Previous owner put 40k into her ! God bless him.
